Software Approvals

You no longer need to spend time finding the right approver and sending mails. SCCM Self Service automates the approval workflow by routing the request to:

• Your manager
• A pre-determined list of approvers
• An approver dynamically determined by attributes of the requester

Software in the catalog can be configured to either require or not require approval. Customizable emails and detailed status keeps everyone informed on approval status.

Configure appropriate approval group

• Approval families provide further flexibility. For example, if you wanted to have 2 separate groups of approvers for the "IT Department" you can assign each approval group to a separate family
• Setup serial approval chains
• Configure approval pools in which any one person can approve
