Software Request Management
SCCM Self Service, a request management system, saves you time and increases productivity. By integrating with ConfigMgr, our solution removes the burdensome task of addressing individual or group software requests.
SCCM Self Service accepts requests from your end users, managers, help desk, and admins. It then processes these requests against approval and inventory rules. The approval process can dynamically change based on conditions of the user (department or OU) or on the request (low license availability).
SCCM Self Service Use Cases:
- Request Packaged Applications, Task Sequences, Virtual Applications, and OSD images from SCCM
- Request non-software items such as cell phones, computer accessories, or new (unknown) software
- Request to Self, Request to Direct Reports (Manager), Request on Behalf, Request to SCCM Collections
- Provision users and/or computers into Active Directory Security Groups
- Allow users to request access to Active Directory groups by name, role, and description
- Use "Custom Actions" to create Help Desk tickets, invoke remote web services, or any other programmic task you wish to trigger at various stages of the request process
- Gathering specific data from the requesters with our "Question Manager"

This is a tremendous application to add to your SMS infrastructure. It is well worth the cost involved in purchase and can greatly streamline the software request process in your organization.
